Associate Advocate
We are seeking an Associate Advocate with 3–5 years of post-admission experience in corporate and commercial or dispute resolution practice. The successful candidate will work directly with partners on client matters, taking responsibility for research, drafting, client communication and transaction management.
What We Are Looking For
- Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in Kenya
- 3–5 years post-admission experience in a commercial law firm
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
- Demonstrated client-facing experience
- Attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Commitment to professional development and continuing legal education
Pupillage
OLM offers a structured pupillage programme for recent law graduates completing their transition to the Bar. Pupils rotate across practice areas under the direct supervision of a pupil supervisor, gaining practical experience in transactional, advisory and contentious work.
What We Are Looking For
- LL.B degree (2nd Class Honours or above) or equivalent
- Enrolled or eligible for enrolment at the Kenya School of Law
- Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in commercial law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to professional rigour
- Genuine interest in building a career in commercial legal practice
